fuel gauge

1997 pontiac firebird 6 cyl...76,000..fuel gauge won't work..replaced fuel sending unit and gauges..is there anything else to check...PLEASE HELP

At the bottom of the main forum page is a link to Mitchell1. Go to wiring diagrams and find th esender wire. Test with an Ohm meter for continuity, there might be a break in the wire

it always reads 3/4 except when you fill it then it moves toward full a little bit

I'm far from a wiring pro, and Jack probably has the right answer, but I have received bad sending units that did that.
