My 94 firebird 3.4 v6 automatic died while I was driving down the road, and then would not start for a few minutes. Then it started up and ran fine for a few miles. Then died again and wouldnt start back. When the key is in the "on" position, the radio and all the vents turn on, but when I turn the key to start it, everything cuts off and the car wont turn over or anything. Could this be the connection from the battery to the starter?

I'd make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. Make sure the theft/security lite on the dash isn't on or flashing. If it is the security system, wipe off the pellet in the key, where applicable, with clean rag, try a different key.

You may not find an applicable trouble code, but, you can look?
