Service engine light blinks then goes solid, had code read. The code=cyl 6 mis fire, I've replaced the plug, plug wire, coil module. Trouble still there, engine idles rough, runs but also rough, seems a bit better when warmed up. Would like direct on what to check or replace next? Are the manuals from parts stores in depth enough to provide the path to an answer?

Had the same problem with my 99Firebird more than likely is a spark wiring issue the wire connecting to spark six maybe worn out or dirty try replacing your spark plug wireset and that should resolve the issue

Compression test it, and test the injector, see if it is clicking or not.

Remove the ignition coils (lable wires) and have them tested. Could be a bad coil.

Assuming he did replace the plug and wire, that leave fuel and compression, I suggested he test the compression, never heard back.
