Electrical problem
1991 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

After I let the firebird sit for extended hours (8-10) it won't start. I have to crawl under it and jump the starter. It will start fine all day until I let it sit again. Any suggestions?

If your saying the starter won't crank when the problem occurs, the purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot with the key in the start position. If it isn't backtrack the circuit, possible issues, wiring circuit-- neutral switch-- ignition switch, feed to or from--theft system. I can't rule out the starter or solenoid, right now.
