Engine Performance problem
1989 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1989 pontiac firebird with a 305 v8 engine. I just rebuilt it and had it running kinda rough but running. I was in the process of finishing with all of the hoses and tuning it up when I tried to start after about a day of not running and now it won't start, turns over and sounds like it wants to start but won't. I feel doun around the exhaust and cylinders 1, 3, 5, 7 are warm but cylinders 2, 4, 6, 8 are stone cold like they are not firing. Any suggestions.

Determine if its fuel or spark problem do below

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine -have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors- Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
