Electrical problem
1967 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Does not have spark from coil, (I check while cranking)checked voltage to it and got 10.5 vtz to both side of coil(- and +), (even with the neg. Wire removed?) When cranking. Replaced the coil twice and the same. I checked for lose wires. When key is on I get 12.5 to both sides. Checked continuity on wires to coil to harness plug and to the switch. I tried ohming out the spark plug wires but I couldn't get any beeping on my ohm meter and I tried a couple of wire including the coil wire. What can be happening? Battery is good
Thanks for your help
Victor

Does it have the conventional contact point distributor if so replace the contact and gap it properly if it continues might want to check the resistance wire between coil and ignition switch.

HEI system check the electronic control module

Yes it has points. You asked me to check the resistance wire, which would that be? The one that goes to the neg side of coil or positive (there are two wires that go to positive is one of then it?
Thanks

At the positive one should go to the ignition switch which the resistance wire the other ignition bypass goes to the starter solenoid.
