1987 Pontiac Fiero my car stalls when given gas

Hi I own a fiero of course and idk what else to do when I almost alwasy stall when parked after moveing and once given gas I almost always stall also it either chugs then continues to go but very slow or after it chugs it stalls

Check your fuel filter or just replace it. The fiero had heat problems due to engine placement and you may replace the distributor cap and spark plug wires. Especially if this hasn't been done recently. Then after doing this remove the air cleaner and spray some choke cleaner on the idle air control valve as it is probably gummed up as well. If you don't know what it is or where it's located then have a mechanic do it.
