GM dealer told me it was the cranksaft sensor and the air Flow intake sensor. The cost to repair 780. After going around and around with GM I took it iinto my mechanic this past Wednesday- his charge was about 500. I don't think it is fixed though.
Yesterday as I was driving on I95 I noticed a slight hestation and saw that the RPM gauge went down to 0. This is what had happened in the past and after that happens the car might or might not stall. If I turn off the engine and re-start, the RPM gauge will go back to normal. I hope you report your problem to GM. Maybe if enough of us do there might be a recall.
