When I am at a stop and turn the wheel all the way to the right it makes a squelling noise. When turned all the way to the left it does not make the noise. I changed the control arms because I thought that would fix the problem. I know I need an alignment but did think that was the reason for the noise. I put transmission fluid in the steering pump when it was low because I did have any stering fluid and a mechanic said that wouldn't hurt anything. Can you all help me?

Did you check to make sure the belt is tight enough?
