HELLO I HAVE A 97 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE AND MY BRAKE LINES STARTED TO GO ONE BY ONE. WELL MY HUSBAND (who has worked on cars forever) REPLACED ALL THE LINES AND THEN BLED THEM. ONCE HE THOUGHT ALL WAS WELL HE PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER AND THEN BACKED IT OUT OF THE GARAGE WELL HE ALMOST PUT MY CAR INTO THE HOUSE BECAUSE HE COULDNT STOP. SO HE WENT THROUGH CHECKED EVERYTHING AND EVEN BLED THEM AGAIN. STILL NO BRAKES. HE EVEN CHECK THE MASTER CYLINDER AND SAYS THATS GOOD. I DO HAVE ABS BRAKES DOES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE? I HONESTLY DONT HAVE MONEY TO HAVE IT TAKEN OR EVEN FIXED IN A SHOP.I feel like a tool I cant even give you a resonable donation. PLEASE HELP ME. THANK YOU. SINCERELY, JESSICA

If all lines are bled, and there are no leaks at lines, hoses and calipers or wheel cylinders, then the MC is bad.

They can develop an internal leak caused by the piston seal (fluid passing past the seal).

When changing MC, make sure to bench bleed it first, or you can cause the seal to fail.
