I have a 1997 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER with 67,000 miles on the 3.0L engine. When you turn the A/C on the A/C belt screams. If you leave the A/C on long enough the belt will break. You can stop the scream if you tighten the belt tensioner, but it will start again then the belt will break. The compressor has been changed, and the belt alignment was checked. The tensioner has been replaced. The only original part is the pully on the crankshaft. PLEASE HELP this is my wife’s van and she yells louder than the A/C!
