Hello, I'm trying to charge my a/c but can not get the ref. To stay in the green I'm using a retro fit can. The pressure jumps all over the place with compressor on its in the red with compressor off it bottoms out.
The compressor kicks in and out several times a minute.
Please help

Going to red when compressor kicks off is ok you probably need more in it. So it shold take 1.7lbs of R134 which would be at least 2 cans. Or around there.
