1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager brake lights

it has 120000 miles on it. My brake lights do not work when I step on them. I checked the lights and they work when I turn on my headlights and they work when I turn on my blinker. What would be causing this? Thanks

Have you checked the switch on the brake pedal.
