1997 Plymouth Voyager Voyager shuts off after 20 min or so

Engine Cooling problem
1997 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi this voyager shuts off after 20 min or so and it can be turned back on in 10 min. If the hood is open it will stay running. When it dies it acts as tho someone turned it off. At the same time you can be going at any amout of speed and it will shut off. New Temp sensor, the upper half has been redone. There has been alot of work done to it but, im not sure what, so the next thing im going to try is the coil pack and the ECU. Someone once told me the map sensor im not sure. But if you can help I thank you

I would look in to checking /replace the ASD relay and crank sensor

I have the same problem with my 1996 plymouth grand voyager and I have changered the crank sencor and that didnt help what is a asd relay not sure

ASD relay
auto shut down relay
check under the hood relays and fuses box
its marked as ASD relay
mark it and switch him around with another similar relay

Ok ive have replaced the clutch sencor and the asd relay and it didnt help any other suggestions its hard to beleive that ive seen alot of this problem and no one has figured it out if anybody has figured it out could you please reply and let the rest of us know thanks

What is it missing when it stalls
is it fuel or spark or both injector pulse
have you done a fuel pressure test yet

No I dont know how to do a fuel pressure check but right after it stalls I try to start it and it sounds like it started but stalls instantly but I wait about 10 min and it will start up and run for about 15 more min then stalls again

Check the video done by Ken on how to check for fuel and spark too
and lets see what u are missing my feeling its a fuel
but need to be checked

Ok I have plenty of fuel pressure I think im lossing spark after about 20 min of running I have changed the coil pack and it still shuts down after about 30 min I hooked up an obdII meter and it comes up with primary or sencondary ignition failure any suggestions
