I dont know much about cars. I have a 93 plymouth sundance, that when I accelerate past 30 mph starts shaking and hesitates to go any faster. It also has started making a strange noise, and when I parked the car bc it sounded like the tire had actually gone flat, the right side of the car smelled like something was burning.

Sticking front brake caliper. The caliper could have a buildup of rust pits or dirt on the piston. This will not cause a problem until new brake pads are installed and the pistons are retracted to make room for them.

Another somewhat common problem is a restricted rubber brake hose. Rust builds up inside the crimp where the metal bracket holds the center of the hose. The crimp can be opened up slightly with a channel lock pliers.
