Hi I just had a friend put a new timing belt on my car because it would not start and the distributor cap was not spinning. Now my car will start but it will cut off if my feet won't remain on the gas, while running it sounds O.K but when I drive it only goes about 3
5mph. I have had the car for a year and have not had new plugs put on. Could it be the spark plugs? Also while fixing my car my friend stated he couldn't get one particular plug out and broke the plug, which I believe he finally removed the additional portion and put a plug in that does not belong to my car. What should I do?/

First, replace the plugs. You don't want one wrong plug in the engine. If that doesn't help the problem, I would recommend rechecking the timing. He may have it one tooth off.

Let me know what you find.
