I have a 1999 Plymouth Breeze. I recently just had the fuel pump replaced and just after a week of having it replaced my check engine light came on. I've had the egr valve come up but have since got that replaced (few months ago) and when I went to my local autozone they told me they could not find a code and that it was "inoperable" and it could not get pass the computer. I was wondering if you think the fuel pump could have anything to do with this? Or what else you think may be the problem. I noticed a day before the light had come on that I heard a clunk while driving on the highway & hear a rattle near what I believe to be a back tire and if that could have anything to do with it? Also, car steering wheel shakes slightly even at 55mph, if that helps. Thanks so much! --p.s. car has 138,000 miles on it.

For your check engine light. Do this. Turn the key to ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON. That will initiate the PCM scan. Look at your odometer screen and copy the codes being shown. Please post your finding.
