Talked to one of the crew that rebuilds parts like this. He tells me that these are an older N channel Motorola 20 amp IGBT. MGB2ON36CL being the common number seen.
HGT1S20N36G3VL is one that will work as a replacement. That is a Fairchild number that does lead to a datasheet. But it is an obsolete part. DigiKey shows a bunch of IGBTs that should work as long as the specs match.
