how can i renew the color on the plastic (outside) like trimmings and it would look better , i used a can spray and the paint was running down and it look not as the guy told me it would look( guy from the auto parts). i cleaned the surface and all but no good, what can i do..thank you.

let someone who can paint do it for you. it is most likely from your attempt to paint them.
