Every 2-3 days I get cylinder 2 misfire then it goes away for about 5 days then comes back. I switched coils same thing. I replaced plugs, fuel injectors, exhaust manifod, 02 sensors, intake gaskets, throttle body, cam sensors, knock sensor, crank sensor, MAP, MAF, purge, VVT solenoids. Have power and ground at coils and injectors the only thing I can think is bad ECM.

I would agree that this sounds like an ECM issue if you have replaced all these components. Do you ever feel like it is misfiring or is the only way that you know it did is because of the light coming on?

Here is a guide that will help with a misfire if you do feel the misfire when this happens:

The other possible cause of this is an intermittent crank sensor issue. The way this works is the ECM needs to see the crankshaft accelerate after each time it fires the spark plug. This would indicate that the cylinder fired properly. If it does not accelerate then it assumes it is misfiring.

Here is a guide that helps with this:

I would replace the crank sensor if you have already replaced all these components and it did not fix it before you put an ECM in it because there is no real testing for this. I attached below the process for replacing it.

Okay. Did you have the P0302 before the crank sensor? That is the way I understand it so if that is the case then I would agree this sounds like an ECM based on this info. Thanks
