I need to replace the engine wiring harness connector (female) that connects to the Oxygen sensor connector (male). It has 4 color coded wires. When connecting those 4 color coded engine wiring harness into the oxygen sensor connector, does it matter where each color wire goes in which terminal? If it does matter, can you please supply a diagram or describe where each color wire specifically goes into which terminal? Thanks!

Yes. It does matter which wires these are connected to. I attached the wiring diagram for each wire. You will see the label of each wire on the sensor. With your wire colors it appears you are doing the Bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor.

Take a look at this and let me know if you have more questions. Thanks.

Yes, it is for the Bank 1 Sensor 1. Does it matter if the gauge is different of the wires that I plan to splice to the existing wires shown in the picture I attached or do they have to be the same exact gauge?

I appreciate so much for the diagram you attached. It was very helpful. Is there a website where one can find this diagram including many other diagrams for this car. Thank you!

It should be the same but you will be fine if the wiring is larger rather then smaller. The smaller the wire, the higher the resistance due to the lesser ability to all current to flow and it could cause the wire to overheat.

As for the wiring diagrams we use Alldata and Mitchell online manuals. You would need to pay for a subscription but they would have everything you need. However, if an issue arises, you can always just post a new question and we would be happy to help. Thanks

Just to be clear, let's say if the existing wire from the engine wiring harness is 18 gauge, then it would be fine to connect a 16 gauge wire rather than a 20 gauge wire? Thank you!

That is correct. Smaller the number, larger the wire.

Can you please provide a wiring diagram for the fuel injectors and ignition coils? The ground wires for those are connected to the ECM. I need to trace those wires all the way to the ECM. So, If there is a diagram that shows where each color coded ground wire is connected into which terminal of the ECM, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, where do the power wires for the fuel injectors and ignition coils connect to? It doesn't appear to be to the ECM.

I also need to do a DYI wheel alignment. Can you please provide the specs? It would be very helpful if it was in inches, particularly for the toe specs. Besides a toe alignment, does this car require a camber and caster alignment as well? Do the rear wheels need any type of alignment, including toe or is it just a front end alignment that's needed? Thank you!

I attached the complete wiring diagram for the power-train. It will contain everything you are looking for.

As for the alignment specs. We can provide those but we need to start a new post as we need to keep each post to one topic. This way others can find the alignment specs if they need them as well. They won't find them under this header.
