Overdrive light flashing?

I've retrieved the code and it's: P0747 (Pressure Control Solenoid A).

Now I do have another problem: After been driving like that for couple of days after experiencing shift delays, the car won't go on reverse. I tried and it went with difficulties. I parked the car and quit driving it. Also re-scanned to see if there's a new code and just says the only code which is P0747.

Is it serious?

When the O/D light flashes (means you have no O/D) that is usually becuase of a faulty sensor on the tranny. No O/D is protective mode (limp mode) that the tranny uses when a fault has been detected by the vehicle's computer. You will need a diagnostic done on the tranny to pinpoint the exact culprit here.

I need to order a new solenoid pack/block.

What about the No Reverse problem? Is it linked to the P0747 Code? Hope so.

The pressure control solenoid is stuck on, so that could play a role with the reverse. I can't guarantee it will fix it, but I feel that it may be the problem.

My overdrive light starts flashing after a few miles of driving. I push the overdrive light button an I can feel it kick off and the rpm go up, push the button to turn it on I can feel it turn on an rpm drop. What could be the problem?

Is the light flashing a code? A flashing light is normally a fault code. Look for a sequence in the flash. If its just a continuous flash get a transmission code read done.

The flashing light is an indicator that there are codes stored in the TCM that need to be recovered. You would need a professional scan tool capable of accessing the Transmission Control Module. A generic code reader will not be sufficient for that.

My overdrive light comes on and blinks off and on when I sometiimes round a curve or when I am speeding up. I have to turn the engine off then back on to stop it from blinking. Transmission does not shift right when it is doing this. What could cause this or is my transmission bad or is it a sensor

First, if it happens when turning, make sure the fluid is clean and full. As far as your question, what does the trans do when the light is flashing? Also, when it is doing this, you need to have the computer scanned to identify what is causing the problem.

Let me know what happens when it lights.

If I had to guess, I would say you have a bad shift solenoid which is causing the problem. My best recommendation is to have the computer scanned when the light is flashing. That way you will know exactly where the problem is coming from rather than a guess from me. I don't like to give information without being sure.

Try that and let me know what you find.
