Hard starting it needs to much cranking?

My vehicle model opel vectra 1.7d could not start quickly, it needs to much cranking while at the morning. Can you tell me why this is happen?

Yep, weak glow plugs can cause this or the glow plug controller is bad and not supplying power to the glow plugs. You can remove the glow plug with the wires still attached, then turn the key on, (do not crank the engine over) to see if the plug is glowing, if not suspect the glow plugs or control module.
