Hi, I live in South Africa, I did a long trip yeterday and my car started cutting out about half way. The orange engine light comes on all the time, I have looked in the book and it says it has something to do with the fact that my petrol can not get through. When I slow the car down all the lights come on and it usually stalls. Also when it happened the first time my speedometer stopped moving and has not moved since and my milage has not changed. I have no idea what to do, please help?

First replace the CKP (crankshaft position) sensor. Then have the car serviced. Including new coils/wires and spark plugs

Replace the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) for the speedo and mileage fault ... this will not be causing the stalling out fault .. that will be cured by replacing the CKP
