One cylinder compression is zero

Hi, suddenly my swift desire diesel car giving heat sign. And I have checked the radiator, fan and coolant everything in place. Then the service center guys told me one of the cylinder has 0 compression and told me to open the engine and 70k estimation. Please help me with your advice what may be the issue?

If you truly have 0 compression, there has to either be a valve stuck open, bent and open, or a hole in the top of a piston. Take a look at this link. It is for a gas powered vehicle, but the main ideas are the same. At first, it discusses low compression and then discusses no compression in one cylinder.
