1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I had a new battery put in and less than a year the car would not start. A new battery put ina dn still a few weeks later the same problem. Then a new alternater was put in and afew weeks later the same problem They worked on the electral and now my car ariel wont go down. And the car wont even turn over. Can you help?

Which cutlass do you have? Several are listed, I can help you track the starter circuit, but, you'll have to do the testing.

If your saying the starter won't crank? Did you try cranking in neutral? When you turn the key on, do the dash lites come on? The purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot with the key in the crank position. If it isn't hot, you'll have to backtrack the circuit. Let us know what you find.
