I have the exact same car and when I bought it, it did the very same things you described. I took it to a mechanic and it was the mass airflow sensor. They wanted $500 to replace it. So if you don't want to spend that kind of money, I suggest you buy some mass airflow sensor cleaner and spray the hell out of the contacts, or, go to a junkyard and try and get the part. Picked one up for $25 bucks. Good luck!
