idles rough, poor gas millage, smell gas and hard to start after first start up and run for a short period of time. i was told by an auto store that it was a vacumn leak. were would i look for this leak. thanks very much for your help.

If this is a Vortec CPI spider injection engine-you need to check the fuel pressure. Pressure regulator could be leaking open upper intake plenum and investigate also check the nut kit/poppet valves
