To replace the starter You need to take the car to a certified technician. If you insist on doing it yourself, here is a general listing (in no specific order) of the necessary parts/components which have to be removed and replaced during the repair.
Disconnect battery
remove engine cover
discharge fuel pressure
remove air filter and box
disconnect all lines and hoses at the throttle body
remove all 4 front spark plug wires
Disconnect fuel lines
disconnect fuel injector main connector
remove necessary vacuum hoses from intake manifold
remove intake manifold
remove starter bolts, and wires
remove starter
as they say "reverse thses procedures to install"
start engine and check for leaks and/or loose hoses
This is not an easy job for a novice, however if you have a lot of experience repairing automobiles. You decide.
