The Trunk Lid was left open on my car while I was on vacation. It was inadvertently shut when someone saw it open. The Battery is now dead (discharged) and the remote entry unlocker for the trunk and the door will not work. I tried the ignition key several times in the door but it did not unlock. Does anyone know if the Ignition Key is supposed to Unlock any of the Doors or Trunk in the event that you have a discharged battery or lose your remote opener or it goes dead (low battery)? I appreciate the answer quickly so I do not call a Locksmith to open it.

you should have a secondary key that works the door and trunk locks. If you can't find this key then go to a GM dealership with your vin and ownership paperwork and they should be able to cut you a key
