In the past few weeks I have been having problems accelerating. I will be driving then all of a sudden I can't get it to keep the speed up. I will actually be flooring the accelerator and nothing will happen, I will be slowing down. I will have to lift my foot up and press it down, and sometimes it will work and sometimes I will just have to wait for it to kick back in. What could possibly be wrong? Also, all of my lights on my dashboard have been turning on almost everytime I start my car. I just don't know what is wrong.

Hi:
I would start with checking fuel pump pressure. Many parts stores will lend or rent the gauge, and here is a video on how to do it.

Also, is the check engine light on?
