Oil light comes on

We need to start with check the oil level and make sure it is full. If it is not then you need to top it off.

if the oil is full then we need to check the oil pressure. More then likely we have low pressure and if it is making noise as well then the engine may be failing.

If that is the case, we need to drain the oil and check it for metal. If we find metal then unfortunately the engine will most likely need to be replaced or rebuilt.
