2002 Hyundai Elantra oil pressure warning light

2002 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

After oil change and oil level is ok. The car is not running hot. The oil pressure warning light sporaticly comes on and off. The mech told me the sensor could be damage and need to be replaced. I don't know, I feel there is more here.

Hi there,

Have the oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge, this will give you a true indication of engine oil pressure, if OK, the sender will probably be faulty.
