We just bought this used car from the car dealer not even a week back with the 68143 mileage and it shows engine check light on. What could be the reasons for engine check and where can I get free engine check report. I stay in Quincy MA 02169.

Too many things can cause engine light to appear for me to just guess. Most local auto part stores will scan your vehicle's trouble codes for free. Post code(s) you retrieve then I can help you with correct diagnosis.

Identified the check engine code from the local auto tyre shop to be P2251. Please help us identify the problem.
Also appreciate if you could please guide us as to how we should approach the dealer to help us correct this problem. It's not even one month since we have bought this used car from the hyundai dealer. He gave us 2 months warranty but only for the transmission and power train.
Please help.

DTC P2251 : Linear Oxygen Sensor Circuit Open (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

This simply indicates a faulty oxygen sensor on bank 1, sensor 1. Oxygen sensors should be replaced as regular maintenance anyway. The sensor is located on the exhaust system. I don't think warranty will cover this since as I stated it is part of normal maintenance for any vehicle.
