After hitting a curb and a small pole I have flat two tires and after lifting the hood I seen my belt off track. I had a mechanic come look at the car and both tires were fixed an the belt. My car was showing no signs of oil and when the mechanic poured the oil in it came right back out. Is the car completely damaged or can this oil leak be fixed?

Hi,

It really matters where the oil is leaking from. If you hit a curb, chances are the oil pan was damaged and leaking. Now, if you ran the engine without oil, there is likely internal engine damage. However, if you didn't, then it is certainly fixable.

Have a helper slowly pour in oil as you watch to see where it is leaking from. Take a picture of that location and upload it for me to see.

Hopefully it is a simple fix.

Let me know.

Joe
