OBD2 no communication

To start off the OBD2 port is getting power fuses were checked and okay, but I am not getting communication with the computer the scanner gets power but no communication tried AutoZone and Advanced Auto Parts without any luck, but when I went to eat check this year and plugged it in that one worked but no other scanner will work.

That happens with scanners some work other's do not auto parts ones get used heavily so that may be problem or a poor connection.

If one will work then it is a connection either on scanner or aldl. If there is power there it may be another pin causing the problem. Try dielectric grease see if that works.

I even removed all wires and plugs from port and put in corresponding post on my scanner and still nothing.

Have you checked fuses under hood sometimes these are connected to fuses. Other than that then one of the wires or a few have a short in it or there is a can bus problem causing this.

A professional will have to check for a can/bus problem which maybe his scanner will work on it.
