Based on your description, it doesn't sound ignition related but rather fuel related. The first thing I suggest is checking fuel pressure. However, here is a link that discussed the most common causes for a crank no start condition:

Here are the manufacturer's specifications related to pressure:
Fuel pressure
1. Ignition "OFF" for ten seconds.
2. With ignition "ON," engine "OFF" and fuel pump running, pressure should be 415-455 kPa (60-66 psi).

An easy way to determine if the problem is fuel related is by using starting fluid. If the engine starts for a couple seconds and then stalls, the problem is fuel related.
