My car makes a weird rattling noise when i accelerate and lately when i start the car. There have been 3 occasions (the most recent one was on my way to work just now) that I'll go to make a turn in my car, and it will randomly stop accelerating and every light on my dash will come on. I've been just turning it off and turning it back on but today the car struggled to turn it back on. It only took one crank it just had to try a lot harder than usual. Afterwards there are no lights, and it continues driving as it did before. i noticed yesterday that the light that looks like a red steaming tea pot (sorry, i’m just a girl) would come on randomly when i break and then immediately turn back off. i don’t have a video of the car making the rattling noise but it doesn’t seem as if it’s from the transmission but that also could just be me being delusional and denying that’s an issue. If any of this made any sense i would love to know what you think is wrong with it so i can plan on how to get it fixed!

Yep, the red light that is coming on is the engine oil light so I would start by checking the oil level. This video should help:

It would help to have a short video, that way I can hear it and give you a better idea of what's going on.

Please use 0W-20 weight engine oil when adding. I would not drive the car anymore until the oil level is inspected. The oil dipstick should be a yellow color somewhere near the engine. Please let us know what happens.
