About a month ago my truck started making a roaring noise that sounds just like mudgrip tires make on the road, but it's not the tires. It does it all the time except when you turn left, even just enough to go around a curve.I have rotated and balanced the tires and replaced the front brakes, but it still does it. Any ideas? I thought maybe a wheel bearing problem, but can't find one with any slack in it at all.

Sounds like you have a bad left front hub bearing. They can go bad without having any play.

The only way you are going to confirm it is to remove the hub from the truck and feel the roughness in your hand.
It's very common on those trucks. It often causes an ABS fault in that wheel also.
