Hi,
Most commonly, that is the result of a faulty crankshaft position sensor. When you crank the engine, watch the tachometer to see if it moves slightly. If it doesn't replace the crank sensor.
Also, if you have a live data scan tool, you can check for an RPM signal when cranking.
