My vehicle won’t start and acts like it has no power unless I’m sitting in the driver's seat. If I’m outside of the vehicle and try to start it it acts like it has no battery in it and yes I have checked fuses relays ground wires all that and nothing has worked. Somebody please help.

I am not sure I understand what you are dealing with. Are you saying that you have a remote starter and it will not work? So the only way the vehicle starts is by getting in it and using the key in the ignition?

If I am misunderstanding then we need to start with this video that will help with no start issues.

If by no power you mean that when you try to start it the starter does not engage then we need to go with this guide to get started.

However, I suspect you are saying that the remote start does not work but it starts fine with the key inside the vehicle. Since that is the case, it is most likely being aborted due to a failed sensor or there is what is called an inhibit function that is causing the remote start to abort.

This includes a door is open, trunk is open, hood is open. If this is the case, is this an aftermarket remote start or from the factory? I don't show that being an option in 2002 but it is possible.

Please let us know this info and we can go from there. Thanks
