I recently had to replace my timing chain cover due to crack and leaking oil. Recharged the A/C system and it is working well. However, there is no/little heat when the heater is selected. If engine is warm it will blow warm air for a few seconds then it cools off. It is not A/C cold but definitely not warm enough to take the chill out of the air and make the car comfortable.

Hello,

It sounds like you have an air bubble stuck in the heater core, it happens. Start the engine and get it warm turn the heater on full blast then use a jack and raise the rear of the car up as high as it will go on the jack.

This should release the air bubble.

This guide can help as well.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
