Hi,
Chances are it is the sensor. In most cases, a crank no start condition is the result of either an ignition-related component (crank sensor, spark plugs in this case) or it is a fuel-related issue.
The first thing I would do if I had the vehicle would be to simply see if it starts using starting fluid. If it starts and then stalls, we know it is a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, then suspect ignition spark at the plugs is lost likely due to the sensor.
