I have lost power to my dash and cannot start my car. I had the battery checked and the battery is good. I checked grounds to ground by battery and to engine block and it’s grounded. I replaced the main fuse because it looked a little sketchy. I am currently trying to test the ignition switch, but I am not sure I am doing it right. My readings are coming in low. I am a beginner for sure. I have basic tools. Multimeter, test light and have no problems replacing what is bad but need advice how to find what is bad. I don’t want to just throw parts at it.

Yep, it sounds like an ignition switch but to be sure here is a guide to help you test the ignition switch and the main power lead and ignition switch wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which wires to test.
