Most likely the cluster is the cause of the gauge issue and the reason for the No Bus message.
To try to explain this system as simply as possible, the Bus is like a communication highway where the messages are traveling between each modules. When the message cannot travel between modules or the message that one of the modules gets is corrupted or not recognized then it will display the No Bus message.
We need to start with checking for codes. The codes will give us a better idea as to what the issue is.
Here is a guide that talks about how to do this. Worst case scenario you can stop by a parts store and they can scan the codes for you.
