This happened after (seemingly unrelated) I changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, drain plug, and PCV valve grommet. I need to change the PCV valve too, but I had to order one. Before this change, the car shifted fine.
Also seemingly unrelated, I used to use 5W-30 oil. But now switched to 5W-20 since the recommendation changed.
Not sure how any of this relates to not being able to accelerate, but I find it odd it was fine until I made these changes. Literally right after, same day, I can't accelerate.
Is it possible the air gap from the grommet allowed enough flow for acceleration and now the new grommet with a shot valve is preventing proper air flow? If not, any suggestions?
