How many miles should you get on the average brake pads? Lets say the rotors are good, and you are not brake crazy..... rough estimate anyone? How about the replacement of the rotors in the front? just a guesstimate

A truck your size maybe 30,000 on a premium set of pads. The problem with rotors today is manufacturers are more concerned with wieght reduction for fleet mileage, so they make the rotors thin, Not you father's rotor! A lot of times you can't machine the rotors because of this. Sometimes you can, The shop down the street from me doesn't machine anything anymore, I brought my own lathe bits with me to use his lathe!

ok so 11,780 is not normal for metal on metal? its only been 7 months...

Not normal no, but if the caliper siezed it can happen. Brakes that are partially locked up, can wear out in days! Check the brakes system thouroghly!
