My fuel pump is intermittantly cutting out causing missing and killing engine. When this happens dark smoke is noticeable from tail pipe. Will run fine for few miles then reoccurs.
Switched out fuel pump relay but problem remains.
I jumped out the fuel pump relay and engine runs fine. I need to know what could be cutting power to the fuel pump relay.
