1997 Nissan Truck Engine lopes at idle, then clears

My engine has a loping that comes and goes at idle. The engine will slow, then start loping for a minute, then clear up. I found a stuck EGR valve, and replaced it, but the problem is still there. Second engine, probably has about 150000 on it, and trans was rebuilt last year.

Check the idle air control valve, mass airflow sensor and throttle position sensor

sounds like the same problem I,m haveing now with a 97 nissan xe 2.4 L KA24E w/manual. where you able to solve your problem?
