1997 Nissan Truck Engine lopes at idle, then clears

My engine has a loping that comes and goes at idle. The engine will slow, then start loping for a minute, then clear up. I found a stuck EGR valve, and replaced it, but the problem is still there. Second engine, probably has about 150000 on it, and trans was rebuilt last year.
